MANAGEMENT

Christine Gray Cert IV AWT, Cit WA
Chief Executive Officer

Ms Gray has worked within the Community Service sector for the past 35 years. Christine has extensive experience within the industry including disability services, unemployed youth and the funeral industry. She has worked extensively in both the government and corporate sectors.

Christine joined the School Volunteer Program in 1996 and was elected to the Inaugural Board of Management as Hon. Secretary. She worked in a voluntary capacity for SVP until her appointment to Chief Executive Officer in 1999. Under her leadership, The School Volunteer Program has been so successful in WA that it has become a national program with the recently retired Governor-General of Australia, Major General Michael Jeffery, continuing as its National Patron.

Erica Brayn Diploma of Education ECE
Administration Manager

Ms Brayn has 20 years experience in Education. Erica has been involved with SVP since 1996 as a School Coordinator, Volunteer District Coordinator and Board Volunteer whilst teaching in the Peel Region.

In 1999, Erica was seconded to SVP from the Department of Education as a Liaison Officer. Erica was appointed Rural Liaison Officer in 2001 and since has held both Operational and Management positions within the organisation and continues to develop and enhance the integrity and quality of the programs.

Erica has been involved for over 30 years in voluntary community work, developing the SIDS and Compassionate Friends chapters in the Peel Region, coordinating, coaching and playing a variety of sports and supporting many charity organisations.

Jennie Loveridge BA Soc. Cert IV Training & Assessment
Operations Manager

After a 22 year career in the Government sector, and subsequently raising a family, Jennie entered University and then the workforce in the Education and Community sectors.

She has lectured in Leadership and Life Skills studies to Certificate IV level with Challenger Institute of Technology (Centre for Leadership & Community Development) and lead volunteer programs in community organisations and an educational setting.  In recent years she delivered training and developed and managed member relationships for Volunteering WA.

Jennie has over 30 years experience in the volunteering sector both as a volunteer and volunteer program manager.

Bonnie McGregor Diploma in Accounting
Finance Manager

Ms McGregor has 29 years experience in Accounting and Financial Management. Bonnie has worked in both corporate and private sectors.

Bonnie joined The School Volunteer Program in 2005 and is responsible for the Financial Management of the operation. Bonnie has also undertaken volunteer work with PDIS – Parent Drug Information Service and ADIS - Alcohol & Drug Information Service from 2000-03.
