BECOME A FRIEND OF SVP
The Friends of SVP provides a tax deductible mechanism for people to make a donation to the School Volunteer Program if they can not assist as a Mentor.
Friends of SVP receive the quarterly Newsletter, which keeps you up to date with progress of the program. You are also invited to attend Information Workshops free of charge.
By donating to SVP you are supporting a worthwhile cause assisting students throughout Western Australia.
BECOME A CORPORATE SPONSOR
Corporations have the opportunity to become a Corporate Sponsor of The School Volunteer Program.
Whilst SVP operates by utilising the services of community volunteers to assist young people to reach their full potential by being role models and mentors, it still COSTS to run the program efficiently and effectively. Volunteering is most definitely COST EFFECTIVE, but it costs to recruit, train, administer and support these volunteers and the schools they attend.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF CORPORATE SPONSORSHIP?
- Through your generous sponsorship the benefits to SVP will be:
- Allow the program to operate more efficiently, having more community impact across ALL sectors.
- Enable more community volunteers to be recruited, trained and supported to assist you “at risk” students throughout all areas of WA.
- The more volunteer mentors in the program, the more students, schools and families that can be helped throughout WA.
- Long term sustainability of the program.
